Hello
I want to export sas data set into Excel file.
What is the reason for the error?
ERROR: DBMS type EXCEL not valid for export.
Should I write end XLS or XLSX?
/***Create a folder***/
Data _null_;
NewDirectory=dcreate("TYOTA","/usr/local/SAS/SASUsers/LabRet/UserDir/RRR/");
Run;
/***Export***/
PROC EXPORT data=sashelp.cars
OUTFILE="/usr/local/SAS/SASUsers/LabRet/UserDir/RRR/TYOTA/Ex1.XLS"
DBMS=EXCEL REPLACE;
SHEET="Sheet_R";
RUN;
The code with DBMS=XLSX is working well
PROC EXPORT data=sashelp.cars
OUTFILE="/usr/local/SAS/SASUsers/LabRet/UserDir/RRR/TYOTA/Ex1.XLSX"
DBMS=xlsx REPLACE;
SHEET="Sheet_R";
RUN;
Hi,
DBMS=EXCEL only works for MS-Windows. Use DBMS=XLS instead
