I need to export data to .xlsb file on unix enviornment using SAS 9.4 . Any help on this would be appreciated.

If you have SAS/ACCESS to PC Files installed and licensed then PROC EXPORT or the XLS or PCFILES LIBNAME engine are options. If you don't have this product then you could try ODS Excel tagsets or if you are on a reasonably recent maintenance level like 9.4 M3 or higher then ODS EXCEL should work.

Why xlsb? xlsx is the "open" and documented format that does not have those dreaded proprietary "a miracle happens in there" MS extensions., and can be created on any SAS platform.

xlsb needs SAS on Windows, or the additional PC Files server.
