Hi all,

Greetings!

We are migrating from unix to linux servers.

For an application, we have sas code such that we use "proc http" to get data from a URL.

From new server, SAS EG we are getting the below error.

ERROR: Error connecting to <URL IP address>:443. (The connection has timed out.)

ERROR: Unable to establish connection to <URL server name>.

ERROR: Unable to connect to Web server.

We were asked to check proxy settings but we do not have any proxy configured, even from our old server.

Can you please suggest on how to overcome this issue and establish connection to URL.

Any entry to be made in sas config files or  ?

Thanks in advance!

Seems to me that your new servers are not set up to permit outgoing HTTP connections. I suggest checking with the group(s) responsible for managing your network infrastructure and your servers.

Hi DWilson,
Thanks for the reply.
Succeeded with the issue after adding host URL's SSL certificate to our
server certificate bundle.
