Maybe I am stubborn but whether my explanation from the official document falls into any fallacy?
My argument aligns with @Reeza ( I hope I interpreted correctly) that LRECL cannot be 32K( 32000). If we write LRECL=32000, SAS will understand it is like 1/32767. If it is not the case, could you please explain to me the meaning of the line "restriction".

32K = 32 * 1024 (as 1K = 1024).
32K is therefore 32768, which is 1 above the maximum value of 32767.
