Error message: VT-x is disabled in the BIOS

I successfullly installed Oracle VirtualBox and SAS University Edition.  When I try to start SAS UE using VirtualBox, I get this error message.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is your native OS 64 bit?  From the doco I saw I think it may be possible to create a 64bit Oracle VirtualBox on a 32bit system, but it involves delving into the BIOS.
