Hello Team,
SAS code working properly in Base SAS but is not working in batch.
I've tried to create a macro in batch and it does not work.
%LET RANGE_DATE = %sysfunc(putn(%SYSFUNC(INTNX(month,%sysfunc(inputn(%sysfunc(today()),yymmddn8.)),-3)),yymmn6.));
%put &RANGE_DATE;
Result in Base SAS:
202104
Result in batch mode:
.
Do you know why?
Thanks!
There is no reason that code should work any differently in batch.
The issue must be somewhere else.
But why is that code so convoluted? Is it not just trying to calculate three months ago as a YYYYMM digit string?
%let RANGE_DATE = %sysfunc(intnx(month,%sysfunc(today()),-3),yymmn6.);
%put &=RANGE_DATE;
