Hi All,

Would just like to ask if any of you have any ideas regarding the error (ERROR: Record in file <libname>.<filename>.DATA is too long for buffer) I'm encountering during my runs which happens randomly and can be solved just by rerunning the aborted code?

What is weird as well is that it is just happening in this specific server where I'm running my SAS in. Other servers though sharing the same grid, issue is not occurring.

Thank you!

Best practice where possible is to copy the text of the submitted code and any received error messages from the SAS Log and paste the text into a code box opened using the forum's {I} icon. That can reduce a great many questions. Such as is the error a SAS error or possibly a data base specific error message.

If this is connecting to an external data base you may want to provide an example of the connection code you use (don't show us passwords or sensitive info for logging in) to provide those folks with information that may help.
