I am trying to create a model using gradient boosting. I am getting the error message: "ERROR: Procedure GRADBOOST not found." I have SAS 8.3. Is PROC GRADBOOST not available? Is there something similar available?
Here is my code:
proc gradboost data=Diff_Train_county
outmodel=Diff_model
seed=8675309;
input input1 input2 input3 / level=interval;
target target1 /level= interval;
run;
I don't think there was a SAS version 8.3. And if there was it would by 20 years out of date.
Run PROC SETINIT to see what version of SAS you are actually using and what SAS products you have licensed.
Sorry, it's SAS Enterprise Guide
Enterprise Guide is just a tool for helping you create and run SAS programs.
Use it to run the SAS program:
PROC SETINIT ;
RUN;
and then you can see what version of SAS you are using.
It says I'm using version 9.04
PROC GRADBOOST is only available if you have licensed SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning. I don't think Enterprise Guide has this software license.
