Hi,

I have code that creates financial batch files that distribute funds from an external party. They have recently levied a 40p (or cent if this helps clarify) charge per transfer. They send a transfer that is then broken down into several accounts, Obviously this works fine for any even number up to 40, however, any time the number of accounts is odd, then the split won't be to a round pence.

Any ideas how I can include this kind of logic?

Thanks for any help!

You need to do more planning, before any programming can take place.

Why would 6 accounts be able to evenly split 40p?

What would be a fair result?

Those aren't programming questions, they're planning questions.
