Does anyone know how I can delete exrta rows? I really just want to keep the first row and delete all others. Thanks!

You can select your output statistics by specifying them after the out= 

 

output out=want n=/autoname;

What rows or rows in what? Give example of your data set

Hi,

 

I am using a data set that I imported from excel. I used  proc means in order to create a new set of rows that shows the N, min, max, std, and mean. I just want to keep the row that show N, number of observation for each variable, which is the first row.

 

Here is my code:

 

proc means noprint data=one N;
var A B C D E;
  output out=one2;
run;

data one3 (keep = A B C D E);
  set one2 one (in=in2);
run;
