Hi Community,

what does the following mean?

data test;

set detail.account_nii(where=(k_time="&day_date9."d));

run;

what is &day_date9?

This program expects there to be a previously defined macrovar named DAY_DATE9, with a value in the format ddMMMyyyy.For example, precede your program with a statement like:

%let day_date9=17OCT2018 ;

Presumably the variable k_time has sas date values in it.

The hash OUTPUT method will overwrite a SAS data set, but not append. That can be costly. Consider voting for Add a HASH object method which would append a hash object to an existing SAS data set

Would enabling PROC SORT to simultaneously output multiple datasets be useful? Then vote for
Allow PROC SORT to output multiple datasets
