Hi ,

 

when im trying to access the Netezza database from base SAS, im getting the below error.

its clear that, Netezza drivers are missing.

but anyone let me know how can i install the drivers and connect the database

  1. What SAS product are you using (for example, Base SAS, SAS EG, etc.)?
  2. What version of the product do you have licensed?
  3. What platform is the product running on?
  4. Have you successfully done this before?
  5. Can any of your colleagues successfully connect?
  6. What does the log show when you run proc setinit; run;?
  7. Is there any other information you can supply that might help?

earler im accesing the same netezza through SAS which is installed in server by remote.
now,i installed this on local machine and while trying to access the netezza i facing this.

You do not have a license for SAS/ACCESS to Netezza. Ask the people responsible for SAS administration in your company to get you the license.

do we  need to buy license seperately?

Yes. It is a separate module (like SAS/ACCESS to Oracle), and not included in any other.

Either add SAS/Access to Netezza to your local machine or since you have SAS/Connect licenses make a connection to the remote server that does have it licensed and submit the code to access the database in the remote session.
