Hello,

I try to use this code under SEG ( ex ) to create multiple output DATASET ( where &yyyy = 2009 for example ),

%macro CAL ;

data T&yyyy ;

toto = 1 ;

%mend ; %CAL ;

but it returns to me the following error :

24 data T&yyyy ; toto = 1 ; *** proc print data=T&yyyy ; *** title "Print de -----> T&yyyy" ; run ;
_
200
ERROR 200-322: The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored.

NOTE: Line generated by the macro variable "YYYY".
24 T2009
____
22

ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, a quoted string, (, /, ;, _DATA_, _LAST_, _NULL_.

This code is running without error under a TSO system batch

Why ?

Best regards...
