Hi,

Has anyone encountered successfully creating a data set with observations according to the log, and then when you view the physical table in does not contain any records? It's a weird thing. Folder permissions are set to full control fyi.

Hope anyone can help. Thanks!

How are you accomplishing "view the physical table"?

A SAS PROC CONTENTS shows you what for the file? Did you compare the CONTENTS information about when the file was created and by what user/job, as compared to your SAS log which you believe created the file?

What happens when you access the SAS data set with a DATA step using a SET statement, with a PUTLOG _ALL_; command to display observation variable values?
