Do you have any special requirements when it comes to the id?

You can use SAS functions to create a UUID (https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/vdmmlcdc/8.1/lefunctionsref/n0y09yghr5r11cn1b4ocojwqvrqe.htm), or hashing your business key column(s):

MD5 https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/vdmmlcdc/8.1/lefunctionsref/n0mu81ozw0013yn1kzwve5ola26e.htm

SHA256: https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/vdmmlcdc/8.1/lefunctionsref/p04sqiymw1a6unn1uvh943eudcv...

If you want to create a sequence no you probably need to program that yourself, or utilize SAS Studio Engineer steps.

Or if you have an external DB, you can often define a column there with these characteristics.
