Hi I'm trying to copy and paste my code from SAS 9's Enhanced Editor to Word. I'm trying to retain the color-coded format but when I paste onto Word, all my formatting gets lost. Same thing with Wordpad. Any suggestions for this? Thank you so much 😀.
What options in WORD do you see when select "Paste special"? Formatted Text (RTF) should keep the formatting. If your Word has been configured to use a different default, such as "Unformatted Text" or "Unformatted Unicode Text" it would have that behavior you describe but Paste Special should allow selecting the "Formatted Text (RTF)" option.
Works fine for me with WORD.
Highlight lines. Press Ctrl-C. Move to WORD, Press Ctrl-V.

Thank you - that didn't really work. I think it's because I'm working off a remote server so there're some restrictions. I found a work around (paste onto OnDemand for Academics and then paste from there to Word).
Thank you again for all your help.😀
