Hi all,

Could you please say how to convert degrees into radians. What is the SAS function for the procedure?

There's a FedSQL function called radians - the following creates a table called rads in work which holds the result of the calculation

proc fedsql;
	select radians(45) into rads;
quit;

I think it's basic math, but I'd like to be wrong here 🙂

x = (atan(1)/45 * long) ;
y = (atan(1)/45 * lat) ;

Thanks! Do you know if a special SAS function exists for the conversion?
