Hi,

 

I need help converting a percentage to a number. For example, 10.75% to 10.75 as opposed to 0.1075. The conversion has to be done for 10+ columns.

Please supply some example data (in a data step with datalines), so we can see from where we have to start.

 

If you have a numeric variable with a percent format, replace the format with sonething like 6.2, and multiply the value with 100.

You can also format 10.75 to 10.75% using a custom format. 

 

proc format;                           
   picture mypct (round) low-high='009.99%';   
run; 

proc tabulate data=sashelp.class;
   class age sex;
   var weight height; 
   table age, sex*(weight height)*(pctsum*f=mypct.);
run;
