Connecting to Teradata from UNIX AIX using SAS code run from shell script

I am having problem with connecting to teradata from UNIX AIX using a sas code that is executed through korn shell script. If I run the SAS code by itself, I have no problem connecting to the teradata. But if I use the same SAS code but execute it through korn shell script, I can not connect to the teradata. I am getting the following error message.

ERROR: Teradata connection: CLI2: ICULOADLIBERR(527): Error loading ICU libraries.

Can somebody please help me out?

check the value returned for LIBPATH within SAS:

%put %sysget(LIBPATH) ;

and ensure it contains the path to the Teradata client libraries.
