Hello.. if i use proc cluster or proc fastclu.. can I replicate the properties of each cluster in a different time period. For example, 6 clusters are created based on 2016 customer activity. Cluster 1 is high value, high frequency of usage (RFM model). If I rerun the cluster based on 2015 data will Cluster 1 still be high value, high freq...?

Are their alternatives to Proc cluster etc which could help retain the same properties? For context, I'm trying to segment a population of 1 million customers based on RFM (recent, frequent, monetary value).

Any help is appreciated. thank you!

FASTCLUS allows you to 'score' new observations without re-defining the clusters, otherwise, no, if you re-run the clusters you can't be guaranteed the clusters have the same properties.

Thanks Reeza.. Is there another procedure which could retain the properties?
