Clicking "Clear all" on log closes program

Anytime I attempt to clear my log by using "edit --> Clear all", SAS abruptly closes. There is a very long error message that flashes for split second before closing, but I can't make it out. Has anyone ever had this issue? Are there any remedies?

Never seen this before. However, you can try to clear the log with the following code instead..

dm log "clear";

Easy enough. I'll certainly use that for the time being.

Edit: I tried this and it closed me out of SAS as well. It seems like no matter how I attempt to clear the log, SAS closes.

I reinstalled SAS and the problem was fixed.

I guess that was the hard but necessary way to fix it 🙂
