Stratified proc phreg seems to only use discordant pairs within strata as informative data points for estimation. Is there an option to tag the data used in the analyses? I want to see what data is actually providing information for the output. The observations used is misleading because SAS says it "uses" the whole dataset, when I think only discordant pairs are informative.

Please consider providing an example data as a data step or SAS supplied data set such as used in the procedure example and specific Phreg code for that set. Then indicate with that known example what you want "tagged".

There are enough options with these procedures that somethings may be possible in certain conditions/data sets an not always others.

Have looked at the OUTPUT statement. Perhaps the LMAX option, which specifies the relative influence of observations on the overall fit of the model.
