I have a file which extension name is xlsx, Can I get a sas data set from the xlsx file using xlsx engine?

Hi:
Depending on the XLSX file, you should be able to read it using the XLSX engine. We show this technique in our free Programming 1 class. Of course, SAS will only read data from the file, so you can't for example, have a sheet with mixed data in the cells and then graphs embedded. SAS reads tables structured of rows and columns from the Excel file.
