Automating user account creation via sas program

Hi There,

Lately, we are getting lot of requests from our business users to create 100s of new user accounts every day. I was just wondering if it is possible to write a program to create all the user accounts and assign roles and group membership. I have the list of users in a spreadsheet and a fixed set of roles and groups are required to be assigned to these users.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

importad.sas is OOTB code to sync users and groups from AD or LDAP with SAS Metadata. That should give you a good starting point for your code using an Excel as source.
