Is it possible to attach a document to a WORD document created via ODS WORD?  If so, will you please tell me how and/or direct me to a document that will break it down for me?

Can you provide a bit more detail of what you are attempting to do?

 

Since Word doesn't really have an "attach" feature that I'm familiar with, I am not sure what you want for a result.

Thank you for responding.  I used the wrong wording.  I am attempting to add an object (an excel file) to a WORD document.  The WORD document is being created via ODS word using PROC ODStext.  I want to be able to insert and excel object to the document.  This is done, in the more common way in WORD, by selecting INSERT->(text) OBJECT and then select the object type or select from an existing file.

I'm not sure that is possible and suspect that if the Excel file isn't created by SAS at the same time it likely gets harder.

 

Maybe someone else will have a better idea.
