I am trying to develop a macro/abbreviation that opens the obtain dde triplet window, then copy the contents, close the window and, finally, paste the results into the macro/abreviation (i.e., commands developed during a 'record new macro' process.

Issuing the command dm 'ddgddl' opens the window, but I don't know if there are any tools to copy the contents, close the window, or paste the results into the macro/abbreviation.

Anyone have any clues?

Thanks in advance,
Art

Correction: the dm command for obtaining the triplet is dm 'dlgdde'.

However, that doesn't answer my question(s), only for your reference.
