Accessing my programs in SAS University Edition

How do I access my pre-existing SAS programs when using SAS University Edition (installed on my Windows 8 machine) through VMWare?  I tried to create a new folder shortcut and paste the physical path to my folder, and the message returned said the folder did not exist.
