I need a code that allows to import automatically .txt and .xlm files. Does anyone know something?  Thank you very much.

Proc import would be a starting place for text files if they are fixed column or delimited files (such as CSV). If you have multiple files will similar layout it may well be worth some time to create a datastep program to read them as you'll have more control.

XML may be more problematic if there are many files and they have different schema. Do you have schema descriptions for the xml? How many files?
