A question about Date Format

I want to delete the data in 01/14/2005, format is MMDDYY10.

I use the following code 'if date=01/14/2005 then delete; run;', but it does not work. How to delete it? Is any special code to delete date data? I succeed in deleting data in other format.

You need to learn more about SAS dates.

You need a date literal. 'ddMMMyyyy'd.
