Hi all,
I need to populate a column in a data set that starts at midnight '00:00't and increments in 15 minute intervals. 00:00, 00:15, 00:30, 00:45 out to 23:45. I've been working with INTNX but all I get is a repeated time of 00:15. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
data work.rtspp_with_time;
set work.rtspp;
INTDATE = intnx('dtminute', '00:00:00't, 15);
format INTDATE HHMM.;
run;
Steve
You need a loop
For example: (Untested code), where the value of "something" is an integer left as a homework assignment for you to figure out
data work.rtspp_with_time;
do loop=15 to something by 15;
INTDATE = intnx('dtminute', '00:00:00't, loop); output;
end;
format INTDATE HHMM.;
run;

Thanks Paige! I can work with this:-)
OR
do time='00:00:00't to '24:00:00't by 15*60 ;
