I'm guessing you're using a computer that doesn't have english as the main language? You can try setting it to that for and waiting for an answer from SAS.

Please don't post the same question multiple times, we'll see it regardless of the subforum. I've merged them into one.

Hi!

I had the same problem with SAS Studio, and the answer is right. My error was:
14 ERROR 14-12: Invalid option value ES_VI for SAS option LOCALE. (Notice it is in Spanish)
I changed some settings from Edge (where I run th VM).

Settings>Languages>English
Then: Click on 3 dots and select move to the top ("Mover a la parte superior")

then: Show Microsoft Edge in this language ("Mostrar Microsoft Edge en este Idioma")

and refresh Edge.

After that, I ran my code without erros 🙂

I hope it works for you.

Hello!

I've the same problem with my pc. I've tried to change the browser's language preference many times, but didn't work. The same legend as the beginning: 'ERROR 14-12: Invalid option value ES_419 for SAS option LOCALE'.

I'd really appreciate someone can help me :P.

Thanks so much.

Hello IgnacioFanna,

You have to change your language preference to English on your local PC or
Laptop, so this error will not occur again. Some systems default to English
Virginia because of this the SAS will never execute with that language
preference. Hope this helps.
