Hi Suresh,

You can write a SAS program using the User Import Macros to do it if you can source the user information from somewhere. These SAS provided macros are usually used for synchronizing with Active Directory or LDAP, but the information can come from other places too (CSV, XML, database etc.)

There is more information in the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Security Administration Guide in the User Import Macros appendix.

Cheers

Paul

We will create a users from SAS MC then allocated to the users to use SAS DI, SAS EG,...If any user forgot his 'Password' in SAS DI how can we retrieve it ?

If you have any idea or solution could you share.

It depends hon what passwords and authentication method you use.

If you use metadata passwords for login, the administrator can reset the password in SMC.

If it is an external authentication, e.g. AD, the password handling has to be done there, since this password should not be stored in SAS metadata (if so, it will require manual changes in SAS metadata each time a password changes in the AD).
