Suggestion for Enhanced UI Design in Visual Analytics

Dear SAS Visual Analytics Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to propose an enhancement to the user interface design of SAS Visual Analytics. It would be incredibly helpful if you could implement UI elements commonly found in modern web applications.

Specifically, I suggest introducing a side navigation panel with an accordion-style menu. For example, as illustrated in the attached image, clicking on a parent item such as “Income” would expand to reveal sub-items like “Earnings,” “Refunds,” “Declines,” and “Payouts.” This type of UI improves navigation efficiency and overall usability, especially for dashboards with complex data structures.

Thank you for considering this feature enhancement. I believe it will greatly improve the user experience for a wide range of users.

Hi @nobokun3 Thank you so much for submitting a product suggestion. We have evaluated your request and think that there is potential for incorporation into future versions of SAS Visual Analytics. However, there are other requests that are currently a higher priority for 2026 development.  Your submission will be held, and we will re-evaluate it annually for inclusion. Thank you!
