It would be nice if the logs from SAS Viya jobs could be viewed while the jobs are running. And not just after the job has ended.
This would really be appreciated
In the meantime, as a workaround, I use x 'tail -n 500 logfile >anotherfile' and then I download the anotherfile, but x is not always enabled
With SAS 9.4 I've always just used OS capabilities to view SAS log files. It sounds like this is not so convenient with Viya.
