Dear friends,

I have three outcomes in my longitudinal study, I have together 265 participants

Metabolic syndrome group (MUG) 81

Metabolically healthy overweight (MHO) 52

Metabolically healthy Normal weight (MHNW) 132

all these groups are categorized

Now I need to compare their anthropometric measurements, biochemical and fatty acids ( all continuous variables)

Please help.

the first thing that comes to my mind is analysis of variance (PROC GLM in SAS)

Of course, that assumes you want to compare the means in each group, and nowhere did you say that is what you wanted to do.

Thank you. Can I compare the fatty acids and other variables between the
three outcomes ? Could you please post and example of how the codes would
like. Please am a new user.
Thank you for your help.
Really appreciate.

There are plenty of examples in the SAS documentation. For example:

http://documentation.sas.com/?cdcId=pgmmvacdc&cdcVersion=9.4&docsetId=statug&docsetTarget=statug_glm...

Dear all, thank you. I used the Kruskal-Wallis test. I am sorry for the delay.

Very kind regards
