Hello,

I am wondering if anyone here could provide some insight as to the correct/best procedure to use for a repeated repeated measures design. I know how to handle one set of repeated measures (i.e. if I collecte data on a subject on multiple days over the course of a longitudinal study.  But I am not sure what is the proper procedure for handling a situation in which I have multiple layers of repeated measures within a subject (for example, if I collected data on a given subject every 4 hours over a 24-hr period and then repeated that same data collection protocol on multiple days over the course of a longitudinal study).  Any input here - code, link, point me to a procedure that I can read up on - anything would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a doubly repeated measures design. Maybe take a look at this document:
