Hello,
I would like to find the mean for one of my variables, but that variable has one outlier observation.
How can I find the mean of that variable without that one observation with PROC MEAN.
Thank you
how about using the where clause.
PROC MEANS DATA=_LAST_(where=(myvar ^= xxx));

I want to eliminate a specific observation from a specific sets of variable. Not really eliminate but rather exclude from the analysis.
thank you Doc, it actually worked.
PROC MEANS DATA=data(where=(people^='Jim' ));var item1; Run;
