I want to select observations their month date is march juin september and december. My program does not work what is the problem

create table joint_data as
select *
from joint
where (Month(rankdate)=3 and Month(rankdate)=6 and Month(rankdate)=9 and Month(rankdate)=12);

Those conditions are all mutually exclusive.

Are you trying to do something more like "where month(rankDate) in (3, 6, 9)"?
