I use thye code =

table Battery ALL,Month*Cost;
RUN;


LOG ERROR - the type of name(Cost) is unknown

Kindly suggest.

Assuming that the variable COST is in the incoming data set:

class Battery Month;
var cost;
table Battery ALL,Month*Cost;
RUN;
