proc model f-test standard error

I try  to test for the equality of standard deviation of variables A and B in proc model.

test std(A)=std(B);

but it does not work. I have this message.

ERROR: The function STD requires at least 2 arguments. There are too few arguments for the

       function STD.

if I test only the equality of parameters. I write

test a=b;

and it works.

The test statement in proc model (as in other SAS procs) is for testing constraints on the parameters of the model - not for testing characteristics of the variables themselves. The most straightforward way to test for the equality of standard deviations would be with proc ttest.
