Hi:

There are a few Tech Support notes about something similar (31328 - Creating password-protected Excel files with SAS® software and 48682 - Add password protection to Excel workbooks that are generated using the ExcelXP tagset) but I don't know that the technique (DDE and VBSCRIPT) will work from SAS on Unix to Excel on Windows. That would be a question for Tech Support.
