i've encrypted our main db password and am working on using some macro/data steps in the autoexec to mask any password (literal string or encoded) from being passed to the log.  end game this will be done through code.

but in the interim does anyone know an efficient way to read in the text logs after execution, parse/scan the encoded password from the log and either delete or replace with "*****" and resave?
