the picture above is output of 'proc contents' and there are more than three hundreds variables in it.

I want to transfer the variables to word and use the 'looking for' function .

how should I do ?

ods rtf file='/home/fkhurshed/demo_proc_contents.rtf';

proc contents data=sashelp.cars;
run;

ods rtf close;

You can search your SAS results window, use CTRL+F similar to word.

I think you can either write the listing to a text file, or use ODS RTF

How would that help? Are you unable to search the current output to find what you want?
