Each time when I try to run some sas program new, I want to clear up the work data library. Is it possible to make a tool bar that, once clicked, will delete all data in the work library?

Yes. First create a program that contains the following:

[pre]
proc datasets lib=work kill;
run;
[/pre]

Next save the program. Lets say C:\killwork.sas.

Now right click on the toolbar, click customize, go to the customize tab, click the button for "Add tool", and type the following in the command box:

sub '%include "C:\killwork.sas";'

After you pick an icon, you should have a tool that clears the work library.
