Hi,

I have a very long sets of codes but there are times that I just need a small section from the top and bottom.

How do I divide up the middle section so it wouldn't run

Ex:
this is the code I want

this is the code with all the comments and Macro that I do not want

this is the code I want

Thank you

Hi:
SAS has 2 forms of comments for "regular" code, as explained here:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/lrdict/64316/HTML/default/viewer.htm#a000289375.htm

and, also the ability to comment in macro programming code, as explained here;
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/mcrolref/61885/HTML/default/viewer.htm#tw3514-definemacr... (in the topic entitled "Inserting Comments in Macros")
