I am trying to run the code given in SAS documentation https://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=casactml&docsetTarget=casactml_rulemining_examples01.htm&doc...

It is giving following error:

 proc cas;
     action ruleMining.mbanalysis /
         hierarchy={{name="firstLevel"}, {name="secondLevel"}}
         supmin=200 items=5 minitems=2 maxitems=10
         idVariable={"Customer"}
         out={name="out"}
         outrule={name="outrule", promote=true}
         outfreq={name="outfreq"}
         table={name="assocs"}
         tgtVariable="Product"
         savestate="mystateArm" ;
 run;

ERROR: Cannot convert parameter 'idVariable' from value_list to string.
ERROR: The action stopped due to errors.
Did anyone get the same error and how did resolve it?

I assume you ran the earlier code in the link you provided (?), especially:

data mycas.assocs;
   set sampsio.assocs;
run;

Kind regards,

Amir.

Hi Amir,

Yes I ran all codes from top to bottom. Everything else works fine. I am getting the error when I run the mbaanalysis CAS action.

OK then, as long as all previous code completed without issues.

If no one else is able to offer help on this forum, then I would suggest you get in touch with SAS Technical Support:

Kind regards,

Amir.
