You are asking that SAS forums drive your browser window (even if you're not looking at it) at some time-interval, so to avoid an end-user interaction (F5 / REFRESH)?

to be notified automatically of updates in the Forum, just "watch" the Forum of your choice - and your email provides the control to "pull" the updates as fast as you set its "get new email" frequency.
