Z Score

7.711357

0.826565

-0.48562

-1.55803

I have the following Z scores

To find the P-value in Excel I am using

=1-NORMSDIST(Z location)

Is this usage right????

When I use this I get values like 1.00253E-13 for a z score of 7.348469

for some Z scores I am getting a p-value of zero

Please help me get this right

Regards

It looks right but I would wonder if my data is actually normally distributed if I get values that are getting Z scores in the 7 range unless there are more than 1.E13 observations. When you get 7 standard deviations from the mean in a normal distributions there is not much left in the tails.
