I'm getting the following error when reading in a dataset for XPORT:
ERROR: The character variable PARAMCD has too long a value for the XPORTOUT library.
I manually checked the incoming dataset, and the length of PARAMCD is $8. Is there something else that could be triggering this error?
It goes through CPORT just fine, but OpenCDISC will not recognize a .xpt file created by CPORT.
Thanks!
Suzy
Check again. Run PROC CONTENTS and show the result here.
data_null_;, you rock!! That's exactly it. The length is > 200, and only formatted to $8.
And I love the pic of your dog. My daughter has a beagle mix.
Thanks a million!
Suzy
Glad you got it figured.
