We have a bunch of EG SAS jobs that write out *.csv files, no problem there.

We are now looking to write the output into an existing blank (template) *.xls sheets.

The xls sheet has a lot of formula's within it, we can not seem to write the data into a cell and retain the formula.

Any ideas?

Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of AIX?

I would look into proc template and ods tagsets to create an html document for excel to read.
